Expert Tips

  • Substitute with Dry Fruits: If you don’t have tutti frutti, you can easily substitute with dry fruits like raisins. They add a nice chewy texture to the cookies.
  • Texture Changes: Don’t worry if the cookies seem soft when they come out of the oven. They will firm up and become slightly crisp as they cool down.
  • Use Cookie Cutters: For fun shapes, you can use cookie cutters. This is a great way to make the cookies more appealing, especially for kids.

Storage Instructions

  • Cool Completely: Allow the cookies to cool completely before storing.
  • Airtight Container: Store the cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
  • Room Temperature: The cookies will stay fresh at room temperature for up to two weeks.
  • Refrigeration: For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator, where they will stay fresh for up to a month.
  • Seal Tightly: Ensure the container is tightly sealed to prevent the cookies from becoming stale or losing their crispness.

Serving Suggestions

  • With Tea or Coffee: Enjoy the cookies with a warm cup of tea or coffee for a delightful snack.
  • As a Kid’s Treat: Serve the cookies as a fun and colorful snack for kids, perfect for lunchboxes or after-school treats.
  • Holiday Gift: Package the cookies in a decorative tin or jar and give them as a homemade holiday gift.
